What better way to spend a summer evening than touring a brewery, then enjoying a gourmet meal al fresco while sampling locally crafted beers? Join Chef Royal Dahlstrom and Mark Stutrud, founder of Summit Brewing Company, for this wonderful combination. Mark founded Summit Brewing Company in 1986 to bring back the craft beers once brewed throughout the Upper Midwest. His first beer, Summit Extra Pale Ale, quickly grew into a local favorite. Summit now brews a variety of beers, including seasonal specialties like the summer features Scandia and Hefe Weizen. After our private tour, we’ll dine on the brewery grounds. We’ll start with GRILLED LOCAL SAUSAGES with assorted MUSTARDS. Then we’ll enjoy BEER CHEESE SOUP WITH TRUFFLE POPCORN. Our main course is sumptuous PAELLA with JAMÓN SERRANO AND GRILLED ARTICHOKES prepared over an open fire. For dessert, Royal will prepare GINGER CAKE with SUMMIT CURD. We’ll enjoy our food with an assortment of Summit beers. We’ll meet at the brewery, 910 Montreal Circle and start our tour at 6:30
